Energetic beauty treatments according to the Five Elements

The Five Element Theory

First of all, a somewhat brief explanation of the Five Elements theory because it reaches very deep and far. This knowledge is based on centuries-old wisdom from Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). It is said that each season of the year represents an element that is linked to skin condition, energy and emotion.

Energetic seasons

When you follow these seasons, you can go along with what nature or the energy of the season has to offer you in terms of nutrition, lifestyle and energy. The energetic season is different from the meteorological season and is not completely synchronized with it because each energetic season is connected to an intermediate season [1].

Every person has their own energy

For example, based on 3000 year old Chinese wisdom, TCM does not believe that you suddenly go from summer to autumn. The body also consists not only of bones, muscles, tissue and body fluids, but also of vital energy. Every person has their own 'energy'. You feel this, for example, when you are in a room with several people. The energy of that moment from all the people together gives you a nice or perhaps an unpleasant feeling. You probably recognize that some people take energy from you or give energy to you.

What are the Five Elements?

But what exactly are those five elements? There is a very detailed explanation for this, but in short you have the element Wood (spring), Fire (summer), Earth (between seasons), Metal (autumn) and Water (winter). Each element is linked to a season but also to one of the five body fluids. Such as your life energy, your supply and drainage blood circulation, your lymphatic system and water balance. In addition, each element is also connected to a few organs that regulate the energy flows in your body [1].

We will explain at a later time what each pair of organs per element are and do.

PHYTO 5 Therapists

You can of course also contact your PHYTO 5 professional. A qualified PHYTO 5 professional provides treatments that do much more than just wellness, skin care or beauty enhancement. These professionals follow years of intensive training programs with us to grow their knowledge and skills, together with their experience. They will be happy to give you an explanation and advice!

What does a treatment according to the Five Elements do?

During a five-element beauty treatment you can work on three levels.

Firstly, consider your skin condition, i.e. do you have oily, dry, sensitive or stressed skin?

Secondly, on your energy flows, or the chakras, the energy points in the body. For example, by studying and working on the reflex zones on your face, the PHYTO 5 professional can determine which element is out of balance in you and improve it. This will not only be on the face but from a holistic point of view.

And thirdly, on the emotion of the moment. By letting you smell and choose from the five elements Phyt'Ethers. This way you indicate what your state of being is at that moment. The serum that you like to smell best and that you choose is the emotion of the element you are in at that moment.

Emotions and the elements

Each element also represents specific emotions, such as trust and satisfaction, but also anger and sadness. By positively strengthening this emotion, your immune system gets a boost. You will feel more energetic, vital and relaxed again when your energy is brought back into balance.

Color and light therapy

These treatments can be supported by color and light therapy and lymphatic drainage for an intensive effect and results. Very extensive and if you are looking for treatments that make you more energetic, vital and therefore more beautiful, then this is the treatment for you.

Love,

Sandra
